Atlas Brew Works + Dad Strength Brewing Tap Josh Fruchtman as Director of Sales and Commercial Growth
Industry veteran joins team to drive sales and growth across both beer brands
Washington, DC—Atlas Brew Works and Dad Strength Brewing announced today the appointment of Josh Fruchtman as director of sales and commercial growth, a new role designed to accelerate the impressive growth trajectory of both beloved brands. Fruchtman brings with him world-class brand building and hands-on sales leadership, having most recently served as sales director of Allagash Brewing Company and, before that, in a sales capacity at Dogfish Head Craft Brewery.
“We are thrilled to welcome Josh to the team,” said Atlas Brew Works Founder & CEO Justin Cox. “From our first conversations, it was clear that he not only understands the beer business but also the culture and community that set the craft beer industry apart. As demand for our brands continues to grow, we were looking for a leader who could help us strengthen partnerships while creating new opportunities across our markets. Josh brings the experience, enthusiasm, and relationship-focused approach that make him a perfect fit for our team.”
During his tenure at Allagash, Fruchtman worked under Founder Rob Tod, a pioneering figure in the craft beer industry, helping to build and sustain the brand's reputation for quality, authenticity, and deep distributor relationships.
"I'm incredibly grateful for my years at Allagash," said Fruchtman. "Rob has built something truly special, a brand built on integrity, quality, and genuine relationships. That experience shaped everything about how I think about sales and brand-building. I'm taking those lessons with me and applying them to something I'm genuinely fired up about. Atlas and Dad Strength are at an inflection point, and I'm here to help push them through it."
In his new role, Fruchtman will oversee sales strategy, distributor partnerships, account development, and revenue growth across the full portfolio of both Atlas Brew Works, DC’s most awarded brewery, and Dad Strength Brewing, America’s first dedicated low-alcohol craft brewery. He will be based in Washington, DC, where Atlas Brew Works operates multiple taproom locations across the greater metropolitan area, and will work closely with leadership at both organizations to identify new market opportunities, deepen existing relationships, and drive sustainable volume growth.
“Bullpen Pilsner recently won a gold medal at the World Beer Cup in Philly—that's the level of quality I get to represent every day,” said Fruchtman. “I'm proud to work alongside Justin, Corey, and Daniel at Atlas to bring our award-winning beers to more people, and I'm equally excited to team up with Ryan and Craig at Dad Strength to bring a genuinely new experience to beer drinkers nationwide."
