Old Town Alexandria Hotel Joins Concord’s Luxury Management Portfolio
WASHINGTON, D.C. – We are excited to announce that the AKA Alexandria Hotel is now The Satire and officially part of the Autograph Collection Hotel by Marriott.
The Satire is managed by Concord Hospitality under the continued ownership of Electra America Hospitality. The property’s new brand welcomes guests with a wry smile, composure with a sense of humor and introduces Marriott benefits, while maintaining all the charm and style the luxury hotel has to offer.
The award-winning hotel in Old Town North was designed by world-renowned architect and designer Piero Lissoni, creating a tranquil urban retreat just 15 minutes from Washington, D.C. and 10 minutes from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The space balances modern minimalism and refined mid-century elements, offering fitness classes on the terrace, a luxury movie theater, and a wellness space.

The 180-room contemporary hotel has over 14,000 square feet of meeting space and hosts a variety of monthly events. It prides itself on strong community relationships through events like the Silent Reading Parties, in partnership with Old Town Books, where guests can join once a month with their favorite book. Lalita Method, a Pilates studio located in the hotel offers Reformer Pilates classes, recovery services, and personalized wellness assessments.
The Satire also boasts its own state-of-the-art gym and two F&B offerings. The Technogym fitness center provides a well-rounded workout experience, including cross-trainers, stationary bikes, free weights and circuit machines. The vibrant food and beverage offerings include The Wise Fool for breakfast and dinner, and the Bad Poets Cafe for a casual bite.
