Women’s Elite Rugby (WER) Announces 2026 Season Schedule

Tickets now on sale as venues for all six teams are revealed

UNITED STATES — Women’s Elite Rugby (WER), the first professional women’s rugby league in the United States, has officially announced its 2026 season, kicking off Saturday, May 2, 2026. Along with the season launch, WER has unveiled its full match schedule and confirmed that tickets are now on sale for all venues HERE.

“The 2026 season marks a defining moment for Women’s Elite Rugby,” said Dr. Jessica Hammond-Graf, co-founder and president of Women’s Elite Rugby. “Some larger venues and growing fan bases in returning markets mean increased visibility for our athletes and teams. This season reflects our commitment to growing the professional game and creating meaningful opportunities for women’s rugby to thrive in the United States, while building a league positioned for long-term success.”

Building on the momentum of its inaugural season, WER’s 2026 campaign features all six teams returning to compete in stadiums across the United States. 

The Bay Breakers will play at Heart Health Park in Sacramento, California, the Boston Banshees will return to Quincy, Massachusetts at Veterans Memorial Stadium, the Chicago Tempest will play at Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois, the Denver Onyx are set to defend their home turf once again at Infinity Park in Glendale, Colorado, the New York Exiles return to Memorial Field in Mt. Vernon, New York and the TC Gemini will once again call TCO Stadium in Eagan, Minnesota home for the 2026 season.

Supporters can look forward to a summer of competitive matches, culminating with The Legacy Cup, the league’s championship, in late August (exact date TBD). The complete 2026 schedule is available at www.womenseliterugby.us.
