Comic Con Nebraska Unveils Full Programming Schedule for 2025 Convention
Get Ready, Fans! Panels, Guests, and Fan Favorites Revealed
Omaha, NE – (July 23, 2025) – The countdown is on for the first-ever Comic Con Nebraska, happening August 2–3, 2025 at the CHI Health Center Omaha, located at 455 N. 10th Street Omaha, NE. The event will take place on Saturday, August 2, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on Sunday, August 3, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While fans can expect vibrant cosplay, artist alley, and all-day activities, a thought-provoking schedule of panels will also be on-site which focuses on interactive storytelling, real-world inspiration, career advice, and more.
A diverse lineup of panels brings together authors, artists, entrepreneurs, and scholars to share their expertise and passion. A few featured panels are highlighted below and the full schedule can be found on the website HERE.
Day 1 Schedule Highlights:
August 2, 2:00–3:00 PM in Room 210 | The Care & Feeding of Baby Authors
Author and indie publishing expert Kendrai Meeks leads a humorous and heartfelt session on launching your first book, offering new and aspiring writers an honest roadmap to surviving—and thriving—in the early days of their literary careers.
August 2, 3:30–4:30 PM in Room 210 | How to Turn Your Hobby into a Business
Creative entrepreneur Justin Hansen will host an inspiring session that shows how to transform your passion project into a sustainable business, perfect for makers, artists, and side hustlers ready to level up.
August 2, 7:00–10:00 PM in Hilton Omaha (St. Nicholas Ballroom) 1001 Cass St, Omaha, NE, United States | Dylan’s Drink & Draw
Unwind with comic creator Dylan Jacobson for an evening of sketching, sipping, and spontaneous creativity at Dylan’s Drink & Draw—a no-pressure, all-fun art game show where anyone can participate, win prizes, and enjoy great vibes.

August 3, 1:30–2:30 PM in Room 210 | Silver Age “Superheroes” in Scrubs
An engaging exploration of mid-20th century comic books that transformed medical professionals into heroic figures, blending pop culture, healthcare history, and forgotten gems of the Silver Age.
August 3, 2:45 pm - 3:45 PM in Room 210 | Can I Kick It? Centering Black Nerd Joy in Comics, Fantasy, and Sci-Fi with Jade Rogers
Join Jade Rogers for a deep dive into the worlds we love, celebrating the voices, visions, and stories of Black nerds through epic space operas and superhero sagas with a joyful reminder that we’ve always been here.
