Capital Pride Alliance Launches Pride365 Mobile App

WorldPride Attendees Encouraged to Download for Celebration Information

Washington, DC (May 9, 2025)The Capital Pride Alliance, in partnership with Think Nimble and The Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ Affairs, proudly announces the launch of the Pride365 mobile app. Developed specifically to address the needs of the LGBTQ+ community, the Pride365 app is launching in anticipation of WorldPride Washington, DC 2025. Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of Pride celebrations in the nation’s capital, WorldPride programs are ongoing from May 17 through June 8.

The Pride365 App will serve as a local WorldPride guide. It offers updated information on the parade and free two-day street festival, curated event itineraries based upon specific interests, and real-time alerts from WorldPride leadership. The app is an invaluable tool to ensure everyone has the best and safest WorldPride experience possible!

"With a deep understanding of our community’s need for safe, secure, and instant access to World Pride information, we’ve launched the Pride 365 app to enable the creation of a curated Pride experience, unique to you. This collaborative effort with Think Nimble ensures every user has the information they need at their fingertips to confidently engage in Pride celebrations for WorldPride and beyond,” said Michael Edmonson, Technology Committee Co-Chair, WorldPride 2025.

The Pride365 app is designed as a valuable tool to enhance the experience and safety of LGBTQ+ community members and allies participating in WorldPride events across Washington, DC. Users can easily search for events and causes that they are passionate about in an expansive and growing events database. Users can register directly for those events within the app, create a personalized itinerary, and sync it directly with personal device calendars. It ensures no one misses out on any WorldPride experiences this year.

Beyond this comprehensive events database, designers have included every valuable WorldPride resource and tool available into the Pride365 App.
