Fish Taco Brings Coastal-Inspired Favorites to Montgomery County

WHAT: Fish Taco, the beloved DMV-based taco spot, is expanding with the opening of its newest location in Gaithersburg, Maryland (12117 Darnestown Rd). Known for its Baja-style tacos, fresh seafood, and laid-back coastal vibe, the new outpost will delight diners old and new with the brand’s signature menu of hand-crafted tacos, house-made sauces, and more.

Guests can expect favorites like the Blackened Fish tacos topped with chile-lime sauce, cabbage, and pineapple-chile relish and the Salmon tacos with blackened salmon, jalapeno sauce, red cabbage, charred corn, and cilantro. The menu features a range of other Baja-inspired dishes, from salads, burritos, rice bowls, and quesadillas, plus rotating specials throughout the year. 

Fish Taco is currently offering three delicious specials now through July 31st, including Cucumber Gazpacho, a cold, refreshing cucumber soup topped with pico de gallo and chili oil, Salmon Aguachile, a raw salmon ceviche tossed in a homemade agua chile vinaigrette, and Wasabi Shrimp Tacos, made with sautéed soy-glazed shrimp and topped with a house-made Asian slaw. Fish Taco prides itself on its chef-driven menu full of scratch-made dishes made from the freshest ingredients.

The Darnestown location marks the sixth Fish Taco location in the DMV and highlights the brand’s continued growth across the region and its commitment to serving fresh, approachable,  Mexican-inspired dishes in a vibrant atmosphere.
