5/16 : Lobby Bar Now Open On Capitol Hill

Elevated American Fare & Speciality Martini Menu Awaits

Washington, DC (May 16, 2025) - Lobby Bar is now open at 224 7th St SE. Offering a refined yet playful take on classic American fare, specialty martinis, and expertly crafted cocktails, the intimate space is eager to start welcoming guests. 

Chef Andre Williams, a DC native, brings Lobby Bar’s thoughtfully designed menu to life through his refined yet approachable style. Lobby Bar’s raw bar gives guests the option to taste some of the sea’s finest, from local oysters with classic mignonette and house made cocktail sauce, to jumbo shrimp cocktail with Chef Williams’ signature Lobby sauce.

For the main course, a mix of options from land and sea are available for guests to enjoy. A Double Smash Burger, including two 3oz beef patties, American cheese, shaved red onion, and Lobby Bar’s special sauce is served with perfectly crispy fries. Maryland-Style Crab Cakes are deep fried and served with lemon and asparagus. Additional offerings include Chicken Pot Pie with root vegetables, and a weekend only Prime Rib special, slow roasted and sliced to order with horseradish cream, natural jus, and creamy spinach. The Lobby Bar menu is rooted in American comfort with opportunities to indulge in high-end ingredients. 

Tory Pratt, founder of DC based Pratt Standard Cocktail Company, is eager to bring distinctive recipes to Lobby Bar’s cocktail and martini program. The House Dirty Martini uses caper brine for a unique twist, while the Gin French 75 comes topped with a caviar and chip bite. Other specialty cocktails like a Brown Sugar Espresso Martini and Tequila Old Fashioned. A range of wine, beer, and mocktail options round out the beverage menu.
