Theatre Washington Announces Theatre Week 2025: September 18 - October

Washington, DC – Theatre Washington announced today Theatre Week 2025, a three-week celebration of the DC-area’s vibrant, diverse, and world-class theatre scene, running September 18 – October 5. The popular annual event offers residents and visitors $25, $45, and $65 tickets to more than 20+ productions across the region, made possible by TodayTix, Theatre Week’s official ticketing partner. Tickets go on sale September 9 at theatreweek.org.

Theatre Week’s signature Launch Party will take place Monday, September 15, at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, 641 D Street NW. Media are encouraged to attend and can RSVP by emailing lauren@lindarothpr.com

  • Lights Up! – A free Theatre Week concert at The Wharf - Sunday, September 28 at 3pm

  • 2025–26 Season Preview – An inside look at what’s ahead for the upcoming theatre season - Monday, September 29 at Studio Theatre
