Washington, D.C. (October 16, 2025) — REALM Rooftop Bar & Lounge (899 O St NW, Washington, DC 20001) will officially open its doors on Thursday, October 30 in the Shaw neighborhood. The elegant Seychelles and Creole-inspired restaurant is thrilled to share its culinary and beverage creations with guests starting later this month.
The island inspired menu invites guests on a culinary journey, featuring an array of shared plates crafted to showcase tropical flavors. For coastal seafood lovers, dishes include the Island Oysters, raw, smothered in coconut-lime mignonette, ginger and passion fruit as well as the Smoked Fish Dip, smoked white fish to perfection with coconut cream and lime accompanied by charred flatbread crisps. Another fan favorite is the delicious Coconut Crab Cakes, lump crab tossed with shredded coconut, served with a housemade mango-tamarind chutney. For savory options, must try dishes include the Tamarind-Glazed Lamb Lollipops, Smoked Lemongrass Chicken and Cassava Roti Short Rib Tacos. Guests with a sweet tooth can enjoy four indulgent dessert options such as the Mini Passion Fruit Cheesecake, Papaya & Lime Crème, Vanilla Beignet Bites and the Ice Cream Trio of tropical-inspired ice creams to conclude their dining experience at REALM. Upon visiting REALM, guests can look forward to a full comprehensive beverage program featuring classic cocktails, housemade signature drinks, and handcrafted non-alcoholic beverages. Highlights include the Golden Hour, a bright and effervescent blend of Hendricks gin, passion fruit, lemon, and vanilla, finished with a pour of brut champagne for a refined tropical sparkle and Moon of Mahé, toasted coconut-tamarind syrup shaken with coconut cream, fresh lime topped with toasted coconut dust for two refreshing tropical twists. Two non-alcoholic beverages guests can also enjoy are the Hibiscus Ginger Cooler Sorrel-Style Refresher made with hibiscus-ginger brew decorated with a citrus wheel and the Soursop Lime Refresher, creamy Soursop nectar, lime and coconut water shaken to create bright and sweet sips.
