Accomplished tennis and racquets industry leader to oversee Woodmont’s world-class facilities
Rockville, MD—Woodmont Country Club, a prestigious, private, member-owned club in Rockville, Maryland, announced today the appointment of Aaron Fox as its new director of racquets.
A highly accomplished racquets executive, Aaron’s career spans leadership, operations, and hospitality management at some of the nation's most respected private clubs. He most recently served as director of recreation at Brentwood Country Club in Los Angeles, where he oversaw a broad portfolio including racquet sports, fitness, aquatics, wellness, and member programming. In this role, he earned a reputation for strategic leadership, operational excellence, and delivering exceptional member experiences.
Prior to Brentwood, Aaron served as assistant director of tennis at The Riviera Country Club, a historic private club with a distinguished legacy in the sport. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a remarkable ability to build high-performing teams, develop innovative programming, and foster vibrant racquets communities.
In his new role, beginning September 21, 2026, Aaron will oversee Woodmont’s world-class racquet facilities and diverse programming, ensuring competitive and friendly events for all ages and skill levels. With a rich history of hosting championship events and welcoming tennis legends, Woodmont offers exceptional amenities including outdoor and indoor courts, pickleball facilities, and a state-of-the-art indoor racquet sports center.
Aaron is certified through the Racquet Sports Professionals Association (RSPA) in tennis and padel, the Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) in pickleball, and the Professional Platform Tennis Registry (PPTR) in platform tennis, reflecting his commitment to serving today’s evolving racquets landscape. He remains actively engaged in advancing the profession through education and leadership initiatives, regularly presenting at national conferences on racquets operations, financial performance, staff development, and member engagement. His dedication to mentorship and the continued growth of racquet sports aligns closely with leadership’s vision for the future of Woodmont’s racquets program.
In addition to his executive leadership, Aaron continues to compete at the highest levels of tennis. Last fall, he captured the U.S. National 30+ Mixed Doubles Hard Court Championship, earning the No. 1 national ranking in Mixed Doubles, and he is currently ranked No. 3 in the United States in Men's Doubles. His continued success on the court reflects the same dedication, discipline, and pursuit of excellence he brings to serving members and leading high-performing racquets programs.
