Arlington, VA [September 25, 2019] – The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City will offer an exciting holiday season full of family fun activities to greet the upcoming season with spirited brunches, dinners and holiday teas for the pleasure of those in the Washington, D.C. area.
Holiday Tea
Warm up during the holidays with afternoon tea offerings in fyve Restaurant Lounge and enjoy musical stylings from a violinist on weekends. A seasonal selection of tea sandwiches will be available as well as a chef’s sweet plate including homemade scones with clotted Devonshire cream, lemon cream and fruit preserves. Afternoon tea is offered every Thursday - Sunday from November 29 – December 15 and every Monday – Sunday from December 16 – 30, 2:30pm – 4:00pm. Tea Royal is $55 per person, Teddy Bear Tea is $25 per child, and Table fyve by Veuve Clicquot is $62 per person and a $150 table fee.

Join The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City’s culinary team for a fun and interactive Thanksgiving on America’s holiday, on Thursday, November 28.
Thanksgiving Brunch
Gather with friends and family to enjoy a Thanksgiving Day buffet on Thursday, November 28, reservations are offered at fyve Restaurant Lounge, 11:30am – 1:30pm for $99 per adult, $40 per child ages 4-10. Favorites like whole roasted turkey will be served with wild mushroom & sage dressing with apple cider gravy and seared Atlantic salmon with buttermilk boursin mashed potatoes and balsamic glazed Brussel sprouts. Complimentary valet parking. Guests may enter a raffle for a chance to win an exquisite gift basket or a complimentary stay.
Thanksgiving Day Dinner
Enjoy a special Thanksgiving dinner in fyve Restaurant Lounge with dishes from Chef Jose Noguez. Reservations are available 6pm – 9pm; $89 per adult, $119 per adult with wine pairing, and $40 per child ages 4-10.
Breakfast with Santa
Delight in the magic of the holidays and start the day off with a choice of two Breakfast with Santa events. The warm breakfast will feature eggs benedict smothered in a lemon hollandaise, scrambled eggs, applewood smoked bacon, pork sausage links and more. Presented in the Diplomat Room on Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 15, 8:30am – 10:30am for $45 per person.
Gingerbread House Workshop
Children can explore the art of gingerbread house decorating with the pastry team at The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City. The pastry team will teach the craft of creating a perfect gingerbread house, offering tips and tricks. This workshop will be held in the Grand Ballroom on Sunday, December 8, 11:30am – 2pm, for $45. When you add a gingerbread house to take home, it’s $85.
Sleigh Belles
Gather up your girlfriends for a ladies night of gingerbread house decorating, cocktail demos, plentiful hors d’oeuvres and a stocked bar with an assortment of premium wines. Guests may enter a raffle for a chance to win an exquisite gift basket or a complimentary stay. The event will be held on Wednesday, December 11 in the Ambassador Room, 5pm - 8pm; $99 per adult.

Celebrate the night before Christmas in fyve Restaurant Lounge with a menu from Chef Jose Noguez. Reservations are available on Tuesday, December 24, 6pm - 9pm; $89 per adult, $119 per adult with wine pairing, and $40 per child ages 4-10.
Christmas Brunch
Gather 'round for a bountiful holiday brunch featuring traditional Christmas cuisine while enjoying a magical appearance from Santa and his elves at fyve Restaurant Lounge. Delight and savor holiday inspired dishes available buffet style including a selection of caviar and seafood, a sushi station, a carving station including whole roasted turkey, smoked glazed ham and additional specialties. Reservations are available on Wednesday, December 25, 11:30am – 1:30pm; $89 per adult and $40 per child ages 4-10. Complimentary valet parking will be provided. New Year’s Celebration
Ring in the New Year and enjoy the New Year’s Celebration package, valid Tuesday, December 31 through Wednesday, January 1, starting at $579 per night. The package includes overnight accommodations, a $65 breakfast credit to fyve Restaurant Lounge or in-room dining, a bottle of champagne upon arrival, New Year’s Eve Dinner for two with wine pairing, and complimentary overnight valet parking.
New Year’s Eve Dinner
Cheers to the New Year! Savor the classic dinner menu with holiday additions in fyve Restaurant Lounge. Enjoy live entertainment, party favors including hats, noisemakers and a champagne toast at midnight to welcome 2020. Reservations are available Tuesday, December 31, 6pm – 9pm, for $89 per adult, $119 per adult with wine pairing, and $40 per child ages 4-10.
Reservations are required for all holiday events. Early reservations are strongly recommended. All prices are exclusive of tax and gratuity, unless otherwise noted. Thanksgiving Day Brunch and Christmas Day Brunch at fyve Restaurant Lounge are subject to 10% tax and 18% service charge. Breakfast with Santa, Sleigh Belles, and our Gingerbread Workshop are subject to 10% tax and 22% service charge. A credit card authorization form is required for all of these events. Guests must cancel within 72 hours of reservation or their card will be charged 50% of total party size.
