WHAT: dLeña by Chef Richard Sandoval is excited to offer special programming for Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day this May. Enjoy specialty tequila and mezcal cocktails, and other drink specials, on Monday, May 5, and bottomless brunch with flowers for mom on Sunday, May 11.
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with dLeña and dLeña ROJA - Monday, May 5
dLeña and dLeña ROJA will feature drink specials throughout the day for Cinco de Mayo on Monday, May 5. Enjoy Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia drink specials all day upstairs at dLeña and 400 Conejos Mezcal specialty drinks all evening long downstairs at dLeña ROJA.
dLeña will feature The King’s Crown ($18) with Jose Cuervo Reserva de Familia blanco, prickly pear puree & liqueur, agave, yuzu, and aquafaba, and The Don ($40) with Jose Cuervo Reserva de Familia extra anejo. dLeña ROJA guests can sip on Victory Lap ($18) with 400 Conejos Espadin, grapefruit, lemon, agave, and sal de gusano, Viva la Puebla! ($18) with 400 Conejos Cuishe, kiwi, sugar, clarified lime, sal de gusano, and chamoy, and Divinity in Glass ($40) with 400 Conejos Espadin, Cuishe, Tobala, and sangrita.
Enjoy dLeña’s Bottomless Brunch this Mother’s Day - Sunday, May 11
Celebrate Mother's Day with bottomless brunch at dLeña on Sunday, May 11. From 10am to 3pm, dLeña brunch guests can enjoy endless plates of unique Mexican-inspired dishes and free-flowing cocktails including mimosas, bloody marias, margaritas, and more. Brunch dishes include enfrijoladas with black bean sauce, scrambled egg, cotija, pork chorizo, pico de gallo, and guajillo crema, tacos de champiñón with braised adobo mushroom, pico de gallo, black bean purée, molcajete salsa, and cotija, huevos rancheros with scrambled egg, queso fresco, crema, ranchera sauce, potato, and crispy corn tortilla, and more. Those looking to celebrate mom into the evening are invited to enjoy live music in dLeña ROJA, the restaurant’s downstairs mezcal lounge. From 5pm to 9pm on Sunday, May 11, listen to the smooth sounds of Trio Candela by Eli Staples. Please note dLeña ROJA is walk-in only and reservations are not accepted.
dLeña and dLeña ROJA are located at 476 K Street NW, Suite D, Washington, DC 20001. Lunch hours are 11am to 3pm Monday through Friday. Dinner hours are 5pm to 10pm Sunday through Thursday, and 5pm to 11pm Friday and Saturday. Bottomless brunch is offered at dLeña from 10am to 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
