NEW SHOWS ANNOUNCED AT CITY WINERY WASHINGTON DC

Ivy City Winery Adds Diverse Acts to Lineup 

Washington, D.C. (September 4, 2019)—City Winery Washington DC (1350 Okie St NE) has added several new shows to The Wine Garden and Concert Venue slated for the fall and winter. Newly added shows include Soul, Pop, Folk, Country, R&B, and Alternative Rock acts.   

Joining the September lineup are the Go-Go group Sirius Co Featuring Ms. Kim & Scooby,returning for a residencyThe group will play in the Wine Garden on September 4, 18, and 25 with a special show in the Concert Venue on 9/11. On 9/29, get those creative juices flowing in the Wine Garden with Briclyn Entertainment Presents: Crush Your Craft with The Amours & Kyle On The Mic.

On 10/12, fans of “The Real Housewives of Potomac” can enjoy a live taping of the podcast show Not For Lazy Moms with Monique Samuels: “The Honeymoon Phase Is Over.” VybeBand returns to with another soulful show of R&B and Go-Go sound 10/29.

November starts off with Deep Blue Something bringing the throwback to the Wine Garden on 11/9. Bush Tetras will bring some punk rock to the Wine Garden 11/23 with support from Des Demonas. Looking ahead, in 2/5/2020 Scottish musician Midge Ure will perform music from his album, “Songs, Questions and Answers Tour 2020” in the Wine Garden.  

Tonight, start off the week with the fusion sounds of Got My Own Sound. Later this week, Hot Club Of Cowtown will perform in the Wine Garden on 9/5.

Start the weekend with rock and roll with a performance from BoDeans w/ Dan Tedesco or head to the Wine Garden for a special appearance from Gretchen Peters on 9/6. Saturday guests can enjoy R&B veteran, Tony Terry or participate in a tasting about what make Gin a bar staple with Gin! Drink & Learn. Sunday, pay tribute to the First Lady of County with a performance from Seven Voices: A Tribute to Patsy Cline.

City Winery’s first floor Barrel Room Restaurant & Wine Bar is available for pre or post-show dinner and drinks. Reservations can be made at www.citywinery.com/washingtondc/. Additionally, guests can experience a range of City Winery’s wines at the Tasting Bar located in the entrance alcove, now open on Sundays as well. 

All shows at City Winery start at 8pm unless otherwise noted, and City Winery’s website is updated weekly with special guest announcements and ticketing information. Secure valet parking is available during all City Winery hours of operation.
