Postcard from Miami
Last weekend I hustled home to Miami for a quick getaway. The moment I landed my stomach needed one thing: Cuban food. I decided to go for something traditional instead of my usual Croqueta Preparada (Croquette Sandwich: ham croquetas, Swiss cheese, ham, pickles, and mustard) and got a Pan con Bistec (Steak Sandwich: steak, tomatoes, onions, potato stix) instead.
Not pictured is a Tres Leches slice that drove me into a food coma.
My last day was all Venezuelan food! From an arepa stuffed with white cheese and eggs to tequenos and croquetas. Doesn't the thought of butter, eggs, and bread just make your soul happy?
