matchbox Capitol Hill has added some unique interpretations of classics to the menu. Lobster risotto, sesame crusted tuna salad, pan seared duck breast and a prime rib eye steak sandwich have been added alongside favorites like 3.6.9 mini burgers and signature pizzas.

70th Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day
The United States Navy Memorial

The U. S. Navy Memorial hosts a series of events commemorating Pearl Harbor. At 12:00pm, Historian and author Stanley Weintraub presents Pearl Harbor Christmas: A World at War, December 1941 and host a Q&A session. At 1:00pm, a wreath laying ceremony takes place on the Memorial’s outdoor plaza. At 2:00pm, local veteran survivors of the attack come together for a panel discussion led by noted historian Paul Stillwell. Panel members will include former U.S. Navy Memorial President and CEO Rear Admiral Edward K. Walker USN (Ret).

Entertainment Cruises is offering cruises on both the Odyssey and the Spirit of Washington to celebrate New Year’s Eve. To ring in the New Year right, the boats will remain dockside until 1:00am.
