“Take Me Out to the Ballgame” Cruise
Provides Game Transportation to Nationals Park
Washington, DC [July 19, 2010] — Take your family to the ballpark in style, by cruising on the Capital Elite to a Washington Nationals game! Throughout the month of August, the “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” cruise offers one-way transportation for guests attending the Sunday afternoon Washington Nationals games.
Providing a true baseball experience on the water, the cruise offers classic baseball snacks like popcorn, peanuts and crackerjacks! All guests will receive one drink ticket, valid for soft drinks or beer and wine for guests over the age of 21. The hour-long scenic ride will provide a tour of the city before dropping off guests at Nationals Park right in time for the game.
The “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” cruise will sail to Nationals Park for the following games:
- Sunday, 8/1/10; 1:35PM – Philadelphia Phillies at Nationals
- Sunday, 8/15/10; 1:35PM – Arizona Diamondbacks at Nationals
- Sunday, 8/29/10; 1:35PM – St. Louis Cardinals at Nationals
The cruise is priced at $17.90* per person and does not include a ticket to the Washington Nationals game. Boarding is at 11:45 a.m. and the boat sails from noon-1 p.m. The Capital Elite dock is located on the Southwest Waterfront (600 Water Street SW) and is three blocks from the Waterfront Metro Green line station.
